Christmas time in New York!!

Lucas and I went to New York for a week, enjoying our time together!! We visited with Robin and Dave and then it was off to the city, walking, walking and MORE walking!! We only took the subway once, not only because of the confusion down there but we loved the sights and sounds of the streets. The Christmas decorations were beautiful, shopping was great and yummy pizza!! We had a wonderful time!!

Our furniture is coming in!! The chair is very comfortable, which is is good thing since I will probably be spending a few nights there!! We really like the dresser-the crib and night stand will come later.

Neither blue or yellow...

Since neither one of us were really excited with the blue or the yellow, we went with "cup of cocoa." It is neutral and we both really like it!! Dad worked all day Saturday while Lucas supervised and Mom and I shopped.

The picture doesn't do the colors justice. The blue is more of a gray-ish blue and the tan is a goldish yellow. But this is the bedding we decided on.

Growing Baby Boy and Belly....

Well, we have official pictures of our little boy. See what you think, but it was very hard for me to make out his "boy parts". In this picture, they labled it for me!!

Now lets look at his cute profile....

Are you ready for the belly bump? The last time I was at the doctor, I gained 6 pounds in a month. That was a shock for me because I didn't really have a belly. But just recently it has popped out a bit...

And the verdict is...

It's a BOY!!! We are both SO excited to have a baby boy!! We both keep smiling just thinking about him. Lucas' asked his mom about his old little football and I'm thinking about how I am going to keep him safe...elbow pads or knee pads. I am sure I will have to relax a little bit, hopefully that comes with time!!

13 weeks and growing...

OK, I know you are suppose to blog more than I have but I wanted to wait to have pics of the baby. I could've done belly pics but Lucas said there is not much of a belly. So...take a look at our precious baby!!

We are so excited!! What a change from the 8 week sonogram. The baby is 3 inches from the head to the bottom, and growing right on schedule for our April 11th due date. They said everything looks "normal" so that was nice to hear. It's little heart was beating 155 bpm. They took blood to find out the sex of the baby so we should know in 7-10 business days. Then we go back at the end of the month for a sonogram. I'll be back then unless my belly bump gets bigger!!
